Mystic Skills add combat, movement and world-interaction abilities alongside your Martial Arts. Unlock the specific skill you need, check its category and resource requirements, then upgrade the skills you use often. A missing interaction and an underlevelled combat skill are different problems.

Different skills solve different problems

Do not rank all of these on damage. An interaction skill can be essential to a route without being part of your normal combat sequence. Likewise, a powerful attack does not replace a specific technique required by a mechanism.
Exploration Skills in the attribute panel are a separate menu category. For example, Animal Whisperer is unlocked through exploration requirements; it is not another offensive Mystic Skill to slot beside a combat attack. Use the feature’s actual menu category when a guide or quest loosely calls both of them “skills.”
Unlock first, then inspect how it is used
Open the skill’s acquisition information and follow its own clue or quest. Some techniques are introduced through exploration or story activities rather than ordinary character levelling. Once learned, read the activation conditions and the way your platform exposes that category of skill.
If a learned skill will not work, check the target, position, current mode, resource and cooldown. Try it in the context described by its tutorial. Repeatedly pressing the input at an invalid object is unlikely to reveal whether the issue is a requirement or a control binding.
Keep Vitality separate from Endurance
Offensive Mystic Skills use Vitality, while general utility skills have different usage rules. Do not treat Vitality as the same resource used for movement and dodging. Inspect the selected skill’s cost and your available amount before making it the centre of a combat plan.
Melodies of Peace progression is one route to improving your Vitality capacity. If you have learned a skill but cannot afford its cost, inspect that progression rather than assuming another ordinary skill level will remove the resource requirement.
Capacity and current supply solve different problems. If your maximum Vitality is below a skill’s cost, restoring the bar still leaves it unaffordable. If your maximum is sufficient but the current amount is low, another capacity upgrade is not the immediate missing step. Check both numbers, then consider cooldown, target and mode restrictions.
Upgrade with the exact material in view
Mystic Skill development uses materials including Ebon Iron and skill-specific breakthrough resources. Gathered plants can be part of those requirements. Select the missing material from the upgrade screen or use the appropriate gathering filter to plan a route.
- Choose the skill and next breakthrough you intend to complete.
- Write down the material name and remaining quantity.
- Track that resource and gather nearby clusters in a compact loop.
- Return to the upgrade screen before opening a selectable support box.
- Use a box only for the remaining shortfall you actually want to cover.
Give each combat skill a reason to be equipped
Begin with a small set you can remember under pressure. Assign each a purpose, such as creating an opening, dealing damage during one, or helping recover from danger. Practise when to use it and when to keep the resource available.
After a few encounters, remove skills you repeatedly forget or use without benefit. The goal is a toolkit you can execute, not a bar filled with the rarest icons. Revisit the selection when the target changes: a solo boss, a group fight and a competitive match can reward different tools.
