These are four separate discoveries. Repeatedly striking one bell is not a substitute for visiting the others. Start with the shrine pair so you can complete two nearby stops before travelling farther across Qinghe.
A practical route through the bells
- Activate the General’s Shrine travel point and locate the courtyard bell.
- Use its interaction and check that the learning or proficiency feedback appears.
- Walk southwest out of the shrine area and search the hill for the second bell.
- Travel toward Buddha Fort, then search the wooded route south of it and east of Wildmane Ranch.
- Finish at the abandoned settlement south of Wraith Village and confirm the final proficiency gain.
Pin the next landmark before leaving each stop. The directions describe the search area rather than a surveyed coordinate; height and the approach path matter, particularly around the hill and ruined houses.
If you have three bells but no skill
Open the Mystic Skill entry and check the learning progress. Return to the location you are least certain you actually interacted with. Seeing a bell or walking beside it is different from registering its learning event.
Use a four-item checklist with one entry per landmark. If you only remember “the bell near the shrine,” separate the courtyard from the southwest hill: they are close enough to be confused but count as distinct stops. Avoid spending upgrade materials as a way to finish an incomplete unlock.
Equip Lion’s Roar after learning it
Once the proficiency requirement is complete, open Develop → Mystic Skills and assign Lion’s Roar to an available active slot. Confirm the icon on your current skill selection before entering a fight. Learning an ability does not guarantee it replaced the skill you previously had equipped.
Try it against ordinary nearby enemies to learn the area and casting commitment. Keep your escape direction clear and avoid beginning the cast while standing inside an obvious incoming area attack.
Use it for a specific combat job
Lion’s Roar provides an area attack with control against suitable targets. Its upgrade descriptions add conditions and effects, so read the tier you actually own before relying on a stronger version’s behaviour.
Use it when enemies are grouped and you have a safe casting opportunity. A successful cast on normal enemies does not establish that a boss can be controlled in the same way. For investment, compare its practical role in your loadout with the other Mystic Skills competing for that slot.
