Vendetta: Jinming Pool unlock and rope-dart synergy

Unlock Vendetta through Jinming Pool and understand its Mortal Rope Dart token and rodent interactions.

The quick answer

Complete the Jinming Pool campaign to obtain Vendetta, then Comprehend and equip it. This Inner Way supports Mortal Rope Dart’s token and rodent mechanics; its benefits depend on using that kit.

Unlock through the campaign

Vendetta is associated with completing the Jinming Pool campaign, including the Murong Yuan encounter. Follow Petalfall Banquet into the campaign and finish the reward sequence. Reaching the pool or beginning the banquet is not the same as clearing it.

After completion, check the reward item and Inner Ways screen for Comprehend. If the art is already learned, the next problem is equipping or upgrading it, not repeating the initial unlock route.

Match it to Mortal Rope Dart

Vendetta modifies the rope dart’s Vendetta Token and Token of Gratitude loop. That is a specific weapon interaction. It is not a universal damage passive simply because its name sounds aggressive.

Learn Bladebound Thread and its follow-up kick first. Then learn when Rodent Rampage becomes available and how its coordinated attacks fit your active weapon. A passive cannot supply the missing setup if you never perform the action that establishes the weapon’s condition.

What later tiers change

The progression includes faster token recovery and later changes to rodent duration, delayed damage and pressure against marked targets. Those are separate improvements. Do not assume the base unlock provides every feature shown in a high-tier build.

Question before upgradingWhy it matters
Do I consistently apply the rope-dart setup? The passive supports an existing loop
Do rodents attack during useful windows?Longer duration has little value during target downtime
Which feature does my next tier add?A stat tier and a new interaction solve different problems
Am I keeping the target marked?Later benefits refer to a target condition

Practise the whole window

Use a repeatable enemy and establish the rope-dart condition before committing the rodent window. Continue with attacks that actually keep the summon contributing, then watch what happens when the target moves away or becomes unavailable.

This exercise is about recognising wasted duration. It does not establish a best-in-slot ranking. In a real encounter, delaying briefly for a reachable target may be more useful than deploying on cooldown into a transition.

Diagnose weak results

If the expected token behaviour is missing, check the equipped Inner Way and its tier before altering gear. If the rodents appear but contribute little, inspect target availability and your follow-up attacks. If the passive is equipped alongside weapons that do not use its named mechanics, replace the slot or change the pairing deliberately.

For the twinblades partnership, keep the two resource systems separate in your head: rope-dart setup prepares one window, while twinblades still need their own build-and-spend decisions. Vendetta does not remove the need to learn both halves.
