Learn the setup before swapping weapons
The rope dart’s charged stance can enhance Rodent Rampage. Bladebound Thread provides its own target interaction, and Rodent Rampage summons the Might Rat that supports attacks after you swap to twinblades.

Treat this as a practice sequence. If a setup effect is missing, check that step before continuing. A fast swap does not recover an enhancement you never activated.
Build Karmic Flame and recognise the attack window
Infernal Twinblades build Karmic Flame through their attack loop. When the required resource is available, enter Flamelash and use the enhanced attack sequence. The special state is a window to exploit, not a permanent assumption about every attack you make.
Practise watching the resource bar without staring away from the enemy. After the state ends, return to the rope-dart setup when appropriate and repeat the cycle. If damage feels inconsistent, compare how much of the attempt you actually spent attacking during the intended state.
Read the trigger conditions on your Inner Ways
Echoes of Oblivion, Vendetta and Breaking Point interact with different parts of the pair. Their names alone do not tell you whether the required target state or attack type occurred. Read the equipped tier’s trigger and look for that event during practice.
The May balance update moved a Rodent Rampage duration benefit to Vendetta’s base effect. That historical change is a warning against assuming every older tier milestone is still a requirement. Use the description your client currently shows, especially when comparing a beginner setup with a developed one.
Keep the attack rhythm without ignoring the fight
The pair rewards staying engaged, but healing from attacks does not make a lethal hit survivable. Move for dangerous mechanics and resume from the correct point in the resource cycle. Losing a little attack time is better than losing the rest of the encounter.
For a useful comparison, practise one complete setup-to-Flamelash cycle against the same target with the same equipment. Then take it into a familiar fight. Note whether misses come from poor range, a failed setup or leaving the target for a mechanic; each calls for a different adjustment.
