Unlock the style and identify its resource
Infernal Twinblades is available through the early weapon selection or its Skill Theft route in Qinghe. Track the art's acquisition entry rather than assuming joining a sect is mandatory. Midnight Blades is the associated sect, but a weapon-learning objective and sect membership are separate decisions.
After learning it, equip the style and identify Karmic Flame on the combat interface. A pair of blades in your inventory does not prove the correct Martial Art is selected. Read the unlocked actions before trying to reproduce a late-game demonstration.
Normal attacks prepare the transformation
Connected attacks accumulate Karmic Flame. Flamelash uses a full resource to enter Wrathful Form, where light attacks become Celestial Fury and the style gains offensive benefits at a health cost. It is a commitment window, not a free defensive reset.
Do not activate simply because the meter is full. First ask whether the target will remain reachable and whether the next mechanic lets you keep attacking. A boss about to leave the arena or force a long retreat is a poor target for a freshly started transformation.
Learn Calamity’s Greed by watching the blade
Calamity's Greed throws the blade into a spinning attack and offers a timed follow-up before it returns. Its retrieved-blade state changes subsequent special attacks. Addled Mind is the mobile spinning dash, with charges that you can spend to reach or pressure a target.
Our suggested drill is to use the special skill once and watch the full animation without mashing. Repeat with the follow-up, then compare the resulting state. Finally add a normal attack string. The goal is to understand the cue, not memorise a stream of inputs whose failures you cannot see.
Pair Mortal Rope Dart with a purpose
Mortal Rope Dart's Rodent Rampage can contribute alongside light attacks after a weapon swap. That makes the twinblades' rapid attacks a useful partner, but the rodent effect still needs its own setup and duration management. Switching to blades does not automatically summon it.
Prepare the rope-dart effect during a useful opening, then return to the blades while the target remains available. Read the Bamboocut Wind guide once you understand each weapon's individual resource.
Manage the risk of staying aggressive
Wrathful Form's offensive animation and Fortitude should not be read as immunity to all incoming damage. Keep watching health and preserve a response to the next dangerous attack. Leaving an attack unfinished to survive is often the correct decision while learning a fight.
Against small enemies, mobility can keep pressure on a moving target. Against bosses, the same movement can carry you into a hazard or past the correct facing. Learn the endpoint of your dash as carefully as its damage.

Measure progress by complete, survivable attack windows. A longer string that ends in a death is not a reliable improvement over a shorter one you can repeat throughout the fight. Add upgrades after you can distinguish resource errors from timing errors.
