Find the hidden cave inside Ghostlight Market
Enter Ghostlight Market through the coffin shop in Kaifeng’s Forsaken Quarter. From the market arrival area, continue through the gate into the market. Search the upper-left route for the interactable mechanism that opens the cave leading to Cloudwalk Spire.
This is a different pickup from Wolflike Frenzy. That skill is in the high recess above the arrival entrance; Ghostly Steps requires you to continue through the dungeon. Finding one chest in the market does not finish both unlocks.
Work down the ledges before the final escape
Inside the cave, descend using the visible ledges instead of dropping blindly through the centre. Continue through the suspended platforms and bridges. Re-centre the camera when you land so the next platform is visible before taking another jump.
One recognisable side route uses a cracked wall with explosive barrels near the cube-platform area. Shooting those barrels with a Fire Arrow opens the obstruction. This detour is useful to check before committing to the later section that warns you about going back.
Finish the collapse sequence and open the final treasure
- Take the side pickups you can see before accepting the point-of-no-return prompt.
- Continue through the crumbling cave and rope-bridge escape.
- Follow the remaining traversal prompts to the final reward area.
- Open the final treasure and confirm the Ghostly Steps reward.
- Find the skill under Develop → Abilities → Mystic Skills and equip it.
The unlock is attached to the final chest. A side chest, dungeon discovery marker or successful jump alone does not award the skill. If the reward seems missing, check the final treasure first rather than repeating unrelated Ghostlight Market activities.
Use Mirage to support deliberate dodges
Ghostly Steps applies Mirage, reducing the Endurance cost of dodging. Later tiers add further benefits, so read the effect of your current copy before expecting the complete upgraded version.
Our suggested practice is to use it before a familiar enemy’s multi-hit sequence, dodge the attacks you recognise and watch your remaining Endurance. It supports your movement decisions; it does not automatically avoid attacks or make a mistimed dodge safe.
It is also separate from the long-distance Lightness Skills. If your problem is an area’s flight permission or a missing Afterglow Pendant, upgrading Ghostly Steps will not fix it.
