Unlock the Martial Art, not just a sword
Use the Strategic Sword acquisition entry to track the sanctum in Qinghe, also described as Lone Cloud Sanctum near Encircling Lake. Prepare the Skill Theft tools and a Dragon Key where the entrance requests one. The goal is to complete observation of the master, not merely loot a sword from a chest.
Inside a restricted training area, favour the marked infiltration route and watch patrols before crossing open ground. If guards detect you, recover the stealth attempt rather than assuming defeating every guard awards the technique. The separate Skill Theft guide covers observation timing and the preparation chain.
Build stacks before spending the payoff
Strategic Sword belongs to Bellstrike Umbra. Inner Track Slash opens with a dash and has a second input for its follow-up slashes. Those hits apply Bleed. Inner Balance Strike III is the special attack that gains a much stronger payoff against a target already carrying five stacks, then clears those stacks.
Read the target's state rather than counting button presses. A swing that misses or hits a different enemy does not establish the setup you intended on your priority target. This is particularly noticeable when an enemy sidesteps during the opening dash.
Practise a complete cycle
The following is a learning exercise. It is deliberately simpler than a specialised endgame rotation so you can see where the sequence succeeds or fails.
- Select one enemy and use the opening Inner Track Slash.
- Press the follow-up within the skill's window. Keep facing the same target through the slashes.
- Inspect Bleed before using the special payoff. Do not assume every hit connected.
- Use the payoff once its condition is met, then watch the stacks disappear and begin building again.
- Add Heavenquaker Spear only once the sword cycle is understandable on its own.
Second Track Slash, the charged movement attack, gives another way to apply pressure and move through a target. Consider where you will finish the lunge. A successful offensive move can still leave you facing the wrong direction for the next mechanic.
Connect the passive choices
Sword Horizon, Fivefold Bleed and Wolfchaser's Art support different parts of the wider Bleed setup. Their acquired tiers change what becomes available. Do not copy a finisher that depends on an Inner Way you have not learned or a breakthrough you have not reached.

The most useful improvement is often keeping the entire setup on one enemy. Against a group, choose which target should receive the payoff instead of spreading incomplete preparations across several health bars. Against a boss, prioritise repeatable cycles over adding another attack just before a dodge is required.
