The quick answer
Panacea Fan is a combat-healing Martial Art. Generate Dew, place Cloudburst Healing where allies can use it, and select the intended teammate before spending a targeted heal or revive.

Unlock and equip the healing fan
Panacea Fan can be chosen through the early weapon reward route or learned through its sanctum. Track Panacea Fan itself from the Martial Arts acquisition menu: fan names and older sect-location descriptions are easy to confuse. After learning it, equip the style and inspect which actions your talents have unlocked.
This is separate from the Healer career used to treat illnesses. A career minigame does not replace a combat-healing loadout, and holding a fan does not establish that Panacea Fan is active. Inkwell Fan is the damage style.
Understand generation, maintenance and rescue
Cloudburst Healing creates a water clone for nearby healing and contributes Dew. Emerald Dewtouch supplies smaller healing while rebuilding that resource. Light Dust After Morning Rain spends Dew on sustained healing; selecting an ally changes who receives it. Resurrection is a conditional action for a fatally wounded party member, not a general-purpose attack button.
Think in terms of the next damage event. If everyone is healthy, use the quiet period to recover resources and move into a useful position. If an ally is in immediate danger, choose the action that reaches that person in time. Spending every available resource simply because a button is ready can leave you unable to answer the next hit.
Practise targeting before a difficult group fight
Our suggested exercise is to select a teammate through the party panel, perform a small heal and watch the intended health bar. Clear the selection and repeat. Learn what your interface does before relying on automatic target selection during a frantic encounter.
- Check the ally is in a position your healing can reach.
- Select the ally when you need to override automatic selection.
- Place sustained healing around a safe fighting location rather than behind a moving party.
- Recover Dew during calmer windows.
- Keep a plan for the next rescue instead of emptying the resource on harmless chip damage.
Pairing with Soulshade Umbrella
Soulshade Umbrella supports sustained healing and Dew recovery while you work with the fan. That lets the pair divide jobs: persistent support continues while you respond to a specific ally. Learn the umbrella deployment and recall controls so you do not accidentally remove the effect you were counting on.
Royal Remedy supports the fan's clone interaction. Esoteric Revival concerns revive support. They are not interchangeable merely because both are useful to a healer; choose the problem you are trying to improve and read the tier you own.
When healing seems ineffective
| Problem | First check |
|---|---|
| Wrong ally receives the heal | Inspect the current party target selection |
| Cannot use a spending skill | Look at Dew and the skill's unlocked condition |
| Clone heals very little | Are allies actually staying within its useful area? |
| Revive will not appear | Check the teammate's state and the conditional skill requirements |
Some first-clear boss encounters apply an Inner Demon healing restriction. Do not judge the entire weapon from a fight with an explicit healing modifier. Read the encounter information and continue learning defensive mechanics; healing cannot be assumed to erase every mistake.
Judge support by outcomes
For practice, ask whether the group survived the dangerous sequence and whether you had resources left to respond. A large total-healing number can include avoidable damage or wasted healing. A cleaner run with fewer emergencies may be the better result even when the displayed total is lower.
