The quick answer
Meet Qian Feifei near West Heaven’s Pier at Zi hour. Consult Yaoyao, investigate Liu’er’s house, recover Xiaodai’s doll and hear A’Liang’s story. Follow the midnight noise, use Meridian Touch on both cats, take them to Yaoyao and return the next day for the bells that finish Feifei’s request.

Find Qian Feifei and consult Yaoyao
At West Heaven’s Pier Boundary Stone in Qinghe, visit around Zi hour and look for Qian Feifei near the fire. Speak about the haunting. Then visit Yao Yaoyao at Evercare Clinic in daytime and choose the quest conversation.
If the Encounter has not appeared, complete the nearby Missing Funds task for Jia Fu and revisit the area at night. This is a useful prerequisite check; repeatedly waiting in the same place does not prove the account has met all conditions.
Resolve the three witness investigations
| Witness | Action needed |
|---|---|
| Liu’er at Brewery Backyard | Inspect the floor fragments, sealed and unsealed windows, and whisker on the cabinet. Return the whisker. |
| Xiaodai / Kid Dai | Climb onto the indicated roof, collect the fox doll and return it. |
| A’Liang near the wine cellar | Follow him downstairs and finish his account. Speak to Feifei after leaving. |
Collecting a clue and handing it back are separate objectives. If the next witness does not become available, check that you returned Liu’er’s whisker or Xiaodai’s doll and completed the follow-up dialogue.
Follow the midnight noise and catch both cats
Go to the location Feifei describes near West Heaven’s Pier and set the clock to Zi hour. Follow the strange sound to the breakable ground, open the way down and investigate the underground area and tail clue.
When Snowy and Orange appear, use Meridian Touch to immobilise them and collect both. Ordinary attacks are not the requested capture interaction. Return the cats to Yaoyao at Evercare Clinic and hear the explanations for the reported haunting.
Return for the bells and finish the Encounter
Advance to the next in-game day, talk to Yaoyao again and collect the bells for Feifei. Deliver them to him to complete the Encounter. The reward list includes the Bruised pose alongside exploration and currency rewards.
- No starting NPC: check night-time and nearby prerequisite progress.
- No strange noise: finish A’Liang’s story, speak to Feifei and return at Zi hour.
- Cats cannot be handed over: confirm both captures.
- Quest remains after visiting the clinic: complete the next-day bell collection and Feifei delivery.
