The quick answer
In Solo Mode, open the main menu and select the clock on the right. Choose the required in-game day and hour, then confirm the forward time change. Zi covers 23:00–01:00 and Wu covers 11:00–13:00. This changes world time, not Energy regeneration or weekly reset timers.

Open the clock in Solo Mode
- Return to your own Solo Mode world.
- Open the main menu and select its clock or time display on the right.
- Read the quest’s required hour or day.
- Choose that point on the time interface.
- Confirm the change, return to the location and inspect the objective again.
The feature advances time. If the desired hour has already passed, select its next occurrence rather than expecting the clock to rewind. Pay attention to the day as well as the hour when the objective says to return later.
All twelve named hours
| Hour | In-game time |
|---|---|
| Zi | 23:00–01:00 |
| Chou | 01:00–03:00 |
| Yin | 03:00–05:00 |
| Mao | 05:00–07:00 |
| Chen | 07:00–09:00 |
| Si | 09:00–11:00 |
| Wu | 11:00–13:00 |
| Wei | 13:00–15:00 |
| Shen | 15:00–17:00 |
| You | 17:00–19:00 |
| Xu | 19:00–21:00 |
| Hai | 21:00–23:00 |
Each name covers a two-hour block. Zi crosses midnight, which is easy to miss when a quest also checks the day. Use the game’s displayed day and clock together rather than relying only on whether the sky looks dark.
Match the whole requirement
A time condition can accompany another prerequisite, such as a completed conversation, a previous quest stage or a specific location. Changing to the correct hour satisfies only the time part.
For example, “return tomorrow at Zi” asks for a later day and the Zi block. Selecting a night-time hour on the wrong day may not be enough. Track the quest, finish its previous dialogue and then make the requested change. Re-read the objective after confirming because it may update to a new action.
What the clock does not advance
Energy recovery, shop restocks, weekly rewards and other real-time restrictions are not the same as the world’s day-night cycle. Moving the sun does not grant a new weekly claim or instantly recover a resource measured in real minutes.
Use the relevant activity’s remaining-time display for those systems. If you are waiting for a server unlock or a rejoining restriction, the clock menu is not a workaround. Plan another activity during the wait instead of repeatedly skipping in-game days.
If the NPC or event still does not appear
- Confirm you are in Solo Mode and the change was applied.
- Check both the requested day and named hour.
- Confirm the preceding quest stage and dialogue are complete.
- Check the exact location, including nearby interiors or different floors.
- Re-enter the immediate objective area and inspect the tracker for another condition.
Do not repeatedly advance days without checking what changed. If the same requirement remains despite the correct state, record the quest name and objective wording. That is more useful for diagnosing a possible bug than a report that “night did not work.”

Can I refill Energy by skipping a day?
No. The world clock and real-time Energy recovery are separate systems.
