Move the existing pillars
Find Li Shun at Imperial Artisan Court in Kaifeng and follow him to the unfinished house. Enter construction mode through the on-screen Build prompt. Select the misplaced pillars, dismantle or extract them, and place them on the indicated supports. A blue placement highlight confirms a valid position.
Use the supplied pieces for this objective. Producing a fresh decorative pillar elsewhere does not demonstrate that you have corrected the misplaced supports. Work around the marked foundations until the objective updates, then leave construction mode and speak to Li Shun.
Investigate and recover the manuscript
Follow the suspicious person outside near the tree, then listen to all three artisan conversations. Some listeners are above ground level, so check the roofs when the remaining marker seems inaccessible from the street.
Return to Li Shun and retrieve the Timberwood Manual Manuscript from the marked house. Use the back window if the door is locked. Search the back-room bookcase and the other highlighted storage instead of concluding that the locked front door requires a key.
Finish the correct house
Return the manuscript. The next objective requires a White Wall, Window and Lattice Door on the Four-Rafter House. Select those parts in the construction interface and place them on the unfinished structure beside the quest NPC.
If a piece places successfully but the quest counter does not move, check which building you are editing. A valid construction placement and a valid quest placement are different checks. Finish the conversations with Li Shun and Shi Jihuai after the house is accepted.
These waits use real days
The next stage asks you to return tomorrow in real time. Changing the world clock cannot satisfy that gate. When the stage becomes available, visit Ding Pu, return Ding Mu’er’s dagger, uncover the wine buried by the tree and speak to him again. A second real-day wait precedes the workshop stage.
Use the active journal objective as your checkpoint before logging off. That makes it clear whether you are waiting for the next stage or still owe a conversation from the current one.

Talk to Shi Jihuai and Li Shun when the stage opens, then build against the quest checklist. Keep the small tools within the designated stall area so you can inspect the count before moving on.
Finish with Li Shun after all three areas are accepted. The initial pillar repair is only the opening job; the workshop conversation closes the longer legacy and awards its completion rewards, including Coin Earrings.
