The quick answer
Silkbind Jade uses Inkwell Fan and Vernal Umbrella for ranged damage and control. Use the fan to create space and support projectile attacks, build the umbrella’s Blossom resource and spend it through Unfading Flower. This is a different pair from the healing-focused Silkbind Deluge.

Equip the damage arts, not just any fan and umbrella
The pair is Inkwell Fan plus Vernal Umbrella. Panacea Fan and Soulshade Umbrella belong to the healing pair. Owning the correct weapon types is not enough if the equipped Martial Arts are different.
Inkwell Fan’s Jadewind Shield creates a wind barrier and moves you back. Use that space deliberately: see where the enemy is, then decide whether the next projectile action has a clear line. The barrier is not a guarantee against every boss attack.
Watch Blossom before trying to deploy the umbrella
Vernal Umbrella’s Unfading Flower requires Blossom. Build the resource with the umbrella’s appropriate actions, then use the special skill to establish projectile pressure. If the skill is unavailable, inspect the resource before assuming the input failed.
Our recommended first drill is to fill Blossom, deploy once and watch what happens to the meter. Repeat without adding Mystic Skills. This makes resource use and return visible instead of hiding them inside a long rotation.
Against ordinary enemies, airborne control can change how the umbrella sequence behaves. Against bosses, do not expect every launch condition to work just because the animation looks similar.
Check the boss condition on resource returns
For the relevant Blossom-refund talent, bosses must be Exhausted; non-boss enemies must meet its airborne or immobilisation condition.
This gives you two things to watch in a boss fight: your resource and the enemy’s state. If the boss is not in the required state, plan the next resource-building action instead of repeatedly trying to spend a refund you did not receive.
Use Blossom Barrage’s actual tier
Blossom Barrage supports the umbrella’s projectile sequence through its Combo interaction and tier-dependent benefits. Check what your current tier adds before reproducing a rotation that assumes more uses or a stronger payoff.
Do not spend all your notes merely because an old build list marks the Inner Way as mandatory at its highest tier. Identify the next effect you need and whether your present sequence can trigger it consistently.
Recognise the merged projectile affix
The August Version 2.1 notes merge Vernal Umbrella’s Special Skill and Charged Skill damage affixes on Tier 96 and higher gear into Frequent Projectile DMG Boost. The change covers Unfading Flower and Spring Away; older screenshots can therefore show different names for the development choice.
Use the current library preview for your gear tier. A matching word in an old screenshot is less useful than checking which of your attacks the current affix actually improves.
