Reach the genuine recruiter
- At level 10 or above, open Sects, select Well of Heaven and track its entry clue.
- Go to the Harvestfall Village restaurant and ask the waiter San Qian for information. Pay the displayed information fee.
- Follow the clue towards the elder near the tree. Use Wind Sense to follow the nearby tracks if the search area is unclear.
- Continue to Zhang Yihao on the hillside and choose the conversation about joining Well of Heaven.
Do not hand the large jewelry haul back to the first elder if your goal is this sect. That is the trickster recruitment branch. An invitation and completed quest are also different from active membership: check the sect name before accepting.
Collect three qualifying items

Check the quest counter after obtaining each item. Ordinary Coins and the jewelry requested by the fake elder are not interchangeable with every item labelled Ill-gotten Wealth. Open any Black Market Goods you already own before counting them as usable proof.
Finish the second requirement and return
Check your 200 Adventurer Slips requirement separately. If it is incomplete, continue exploration and claim its available rewards before returning to Zhang Yihao. Possessing all three wealth items does not satisfy the Slips requirement.
Once both conditions are fulfilled, return to the real recruiter, hand over the requested items and accept membership. If you previously accepted Nine Mortal Ways, leave that sect before this final handoff. Joining Well of Heaven grants Thundercry Blade; its longer-term sect tasks and shop progression are separate from this initiation.
