Taiping Mausoleum: entry, chapter boosts and clear objectives

Enter Taiping Mausoleum from Wandering Paths, distinguish clear requirements from bonus goals and adapt to the first six chapter modifiers.

The quick answer

Taiping Mausoleum opens at character level 22 through Main Menu → Wandering Paths → Taiping Mausoleum. Select the required Foundation Trial, read its boosts and clear conditions, then enter. It is a menu activity, so there is no mausoleum entrance to find on the world map.

Select the trial your objective actually requires

Check your breakthrough panel before entering. Note the chapter and floor it names, then select that Foundation Trial. Divine Challenge and extra star objectives are additional targets; do not assume you need every bonus reward to satisfy a request to clear a floor.

Read the three challenge goals on the selected stage. Some measure remaining time; others measure your health at the finish. A successful clear can still miss a bonus target. After the run, inspect which goal remains incomplete before changing your equipment.

Use the chapter’s rules

Mastery Boost describes the chapter modifier. Mausoleum Boost rewards particular actions during the fight. Read both: a defensive action can be the way to activate your damage bonus.

Foundation chapterMechanic to useOur suggested approach
1Affinity and Dual-Weapon Skill bonusesUse a familiar paired loadout so you can activate the chapter bonus deliberately.
2Charged attacks and recoveryRelease charges during enemy recovery; protect your finishing HP.
3Dodging and critical-hit bonusesFollow a necessary dodge with attacks instead of spending the bonus window retreating.
4Deflection bonusesLearn one reliable deflection opportunity before attempting a faster clear.
5Martial Art and Special Skill bonusesUse the enhanced skills regularly rather than relying entirely on light attacks.
6Precise Dodge and health recoveryTime the dodge to the hit; repeated early rolls do not practise the required timing.

Change one thing after a failed goal

Our troubleshooting order is objective, mechanic, then equipment. If you survived but ran out of time, look for missed boost activations or long periods without attacking. If you cleared quickly but missed the health goal, shorten your punish after each enemy combo and preserve a recovery option for the ending.

For example, a fast Chapter 2 clear with low remaining HP calls for a different adjustment from a healthy timeout. In the first case, reduce damage taken during charges; in the second, look for safe windows you are leaving unused. These are practice priorities, not a claim that every build performs equally.

Return to the breakthrough panel after the required clear and confirm the upgrade there. If it shows a countdown, more attempts at the same completed floor will not satisfy that time condition.

Common questions

Where is the entrance?

Open Wandering Paths in the main menu and select Taiping Mausoleum; you do not travel to a map entrance.

Why did a clear leave a reward unclaimed?

Read the remaining challenge goal. Clearing the fight and meeting its time or health target are separate results.
