The quick answer
Reach 75 Mindset, 50 Intelligence and 600 total Exploration Attribute points, then unlock Animal Whisperer in the Exploration Skills panel. At a compatible animal, choose the Beastheart interaction. The skill enables animal dialogue; it does not turn every wild creature into a conversation NPC.

Check all three requirements
Open Develop, use Details beneath the equipment rating and inspect Exploration Attributes and Exploration Skills. Find Animal Whisperer and compare each requirement separately. A total of 600 points does not compensate for missing Mindset or Intelligence.

Use the unlocked animal interaction
- Return to the Exploration Skills panel once all requirements are met and confirm Animal Whisperer is unlocked.
- Approach an animal with a conversation interaction, such as an eligible town dog.
- Open its interaction menu and select Beastheart.
- Read that animal’s dialogue or request and complete any separately displayed objective.
Beastheart is the dialogue capability provided by Animal Whisperer, not a second Mystic Skill scroll. You do not need to replace a combat Mystic Skill slot to speak to the animal.
Why a conversation may still be missing

| An animal conversation does not finish a quest | Track the quest’s named animal and objective rather than assuming any conversation counts. |
Our suggested route is to target the smallest shortfall. If Intelligence is ready and Mindset is low, a long run of unrelated minigames is less direct than Mindset activities. If both individual targets are ready, broaden your exploration to raise the total.
