Unlock treatment before visiting Dr. Yuan
Reach level 13 and complete Legacy: Healer’s Calling. Confirm Healer appears in Careers before attempting the patient trial. Silver Needle is a sect; the Healer career provides the medical interaction needed to pass its initiation.
Travel to the clinic in Sage’s Knoll, southwest Qinghe, and accept The Three Questions from Dr. Yuan. Track that quest so you are following the three initiation patients rather than a later promotion task.
Treat the three patients

The Little Beggar’s inexpensive item has different English wording across captures. The reliable success condition is the third Medical Record, not merely finishing the fee conversation. Reopen the patient interaction if you negotiated but never entered or completed treatment.
Return the records and accept the sect
Bring all three records back to Dr. Yuan. Complete the trial discussion, then use the sect’s Seek Apprenticeship step if the final joining conversation is still outstanding. Leave your current sect first if another membership prevents acceptance.
Panacea Fan is the joining reward. Equip its Martial Art through the combat loadout; the Healer career’s prescription deck is a separate system. Healing a player in combat and curing an illness are not the same action.
Check the weekly support commitment
Silver Needle expects patient praise: its weekly requirement is 15 Patient Praise or patient likes. Plan to help other players rather than assuming the three initiation cures cover future weeks. Higher ranks also introduce their own medical challenges; a difficult promotion patient is not another hidden joining requirement.
If you cannot finish a treatment encounter, inspect the patient’s Affliction Severity and upgrade the relevant Healer techniques with Career Notebooks. Repeating the same weak prescription sequence is unlikely to fix the underlying shortfall.
