Get below the Hall of Seasons
- Speak with Long Wu in Front Mountain, then investigate the Palace of Annals and defeat the guards outside the Hall of Seasons.
- Go upstairs. From the entrance to that floor, look toward the far-left gap and drop into the small library below.
- Speak with the old man and search the room. Use Mighty Drop on the breakable floorboards at the gap.
- Find the lantern beside the bow rack. Interact with it to move the bookshelf, defeat the enemy behind it and follow the stairs down.
Trying ordinary attacks on the floor is the wrong interaction. Identify the marked gap, then use the downward movement skill. The bookshelf is a separate lantern mechanism farther along.
Restart the lift after it jams
Use the lever to call the lift, then its central control to descend. Deal with the enemies that land on it. When it stops, leave the platform and explore the accessible floor; repeated use of the central lever will not repair the fault.
- Take the right-side stair route into the adjoining rooms.
- Follow the objective to the first lift contraption and activate it.
- Continue to the second contraption and activate that too.
- Climb the wooden ramps back to the platform, then use its central lever again.
Loot visible side chests as you go, including those around the controls. Mountain’s Might pages are distributed through this area; an optional chest is a different task from the lift’s required switches.
Prepare before approaching the hammering figure
Clear the lower room and investigate any shrines you want to read. Follow the central doorway past the wounded soldier toward the Depths of the Dragon Abyss. Activate the Boundary Stone before approaching Lucky Seventeen.
Our recommendation is to pause here for medicine and equipment rather than discovering an empty healing supply during the second phase. The route’s traps and guards can drain resources before the actual boss begins.
Allow for the second phase
Lucky Seventeen begins with heavy physical attacks and changes his moveset later, including sword attacks. Do not commit to a long combo merely because the first health bar is empty. Watch the new pattern before spending your remaining resources.
His gold-warning rush is a reason to move out of the line. Keep your punish short until you recognise the end of the sequence. A slower successful attempt teaches more than repeatedly trading into an unfamiliar follow-up.
Take the object from the Loong’s mouth
After victory, speak with Lucky Seventeen and inspect the nearby stone tablet if you want its record. Then approach the Loong head and collect the glowing object inside its mouth; adjust your height with a jump if the prompt is awkward. This final pickup completes the quest.
