Enter the ghost version of the market
Complete Bounty Trouble, which begins around the bulletin board at Riverside Station in Qinghe and brings you to Ghostlight Market. Once that sequence is finished, set the clock to Mao hour and speak to Liu Changsheng near the market entrance.
The ordinary market and the mist-covered quest version are different states. If you see the normal busy street, check the clock and active objective before searching the same stalls again.
Move between the green lanterns
Before obtaining the spectral armour, Nether Mist and the patrolling soldiers make exploration dangerous. Use the green lanterns as safe staging points and examine the next stretch before leaving one. Do not treat the relic hunt as an ordinary combat clear.
An efficient approach is to take one clue at a time, collect its chest and return along the known lantern route. This reduces the chance of losing your orientation while trying to follow three markers through fog.
Mountain Armor: river route
From Liu Changsheng, take the right-hand route downhill and follow the lanterns. Near the cats and steps, turn toward the river and speak to Jin Yunhai on the raft. Continue along the floating lanterns to the rocky ledge with the armour chest.
Open the chest and confirm Mountain Armor was collected before returning. Mountain’s Might is an unrelated Inner Way; it will not satisfy this quest item.
Battle Helmet: Phantoms’ Hollow
Return to Liu Changsheng’s starting area and take the left route toward Nan Lugong’s stall. Speak to him, then follow the lantern path to the right into Phantoms’ Hollow. The helmet chest is on a wooden raft.
Keep the soldiers’ positions in view. Collecting the chest is the objective; provoking every patrol adds risk without helping you complete the disguise.
Iron Spear: upper market route
From Nan Lugong’s stall, use the adjacent stairs and continue up the lantern-lit route. At the wooden bridge guarded by a spectral soldier, continue toward Xiang Gutong rather than crossing into the guard. His clue points to the spear chest beyond the nearby soldiers.
Collect the spear and withdraw along the route you just used. Check all three item names before making the final return to Liu.
Equip the armour and join the march
Hand over the relics and use the spectral-armour quest interaction. Do not assume the disguise is active simply because the items are in your Bag. Once transformed, follow the soldier procession to the Ghost Gate and continue into the resting chamber.
Speak to Liu Changsheng again and collect Trapped Beast when awarded. The quest still continues to Zhu Yousheng, so the Inner Way reward is not the final completion signal.
Finish the final conversation
Defeat Zhu Yousheng, collect the available loot and speak to Liu once more to close the story. If the gate remains blocked, recheck the armour interaction and procession stage. If the market has reverted, restore Mao hour and follow the current objective instead of restarting the whole collection blindly.
