Begin inside the tower
Travel to the Moonveil Peak Boundary Stone and enter Peace Bell Tower. Speak to the Elder Bell Ringer sweeping inside about the fight that damaged the building.
The investigation climbs through damaged floors rather than following one continuous internal staircase. When stairs stop, inspect the roof outside for the next entrance instead of searching the same room for a hidden ladder.
Reach the first three clues
Leave the ground floor and use the scaffolding on the western side of the tower, left when facing its front. Climb the boxes and platforms, enter through the wall opening and check the nearby chest.

Use each investigation prompt fully. A glowing object can remain visually noticeable even when your eye has already passed over it; rely on the registered clue rather than memory of seeing the prop.
Go outside for the incense burner
Climb through the broken doorway onto the roof. Look upward for the next floor’s large wall opening and use the roof or scaffolding to reach it. Cloud Steps helps with the ascent.
Enter, collect the room’s chest and climb the stairs. Inspect the large incense burner beside them for clue four. The chest is optional loot alongside the investigation, not a replacement for examining the burner.
Use the bloodstained exit to reach the last pair
Find the broken doorway with a pool of blood in front of it. Go outside, climb the scaffolding toward the upper roof and enter the next room. Take the stairs on the left from that entrance.
Across the upper room, inspect both the wall clue and the note on the ground near the chest. These are clues five and six. Reading the final required clue completes the investigation.
Locate the missing floor
If you reach the top without completion, retrace by groups: three clues on the first investigated level, the incense burner above, then two together at the top. That narrows the search more effectively than restarting from the elder.
Check especially the stair pillar and floor note, which sit below your usual forward camera angle. Treasure chests are useful landmarks, but their collection count does not track the six story clues.
