Start by the Crimson Cliff lake
Speak to Uncle Tian, also called Unfated Tian, by the lake in Qinghe’s Moonveil Mountain area. Track Blind to the World and dive to the drainage plate below.
Use Wind Sense to identify the three chains leading away from the plate. Follow each chain to its mechanism and activate all three. Surface for air as needed; there is no benefit to trying to finish every underwater interaction in one breath.
Solve the drained-lake statue
Approach the blindfolded statue and activate the large plate. Use the compass to establish north, then step on the four directional plates in this order: north, east, south, west.
Orient by the compass, not by whichever way your camera happens to face. If the sequence fails, step away and let the mechanism reset before entering the full order again. The opened passage is the confirmation that the puzzle is complete.
Clear the trap corridor and use the flooded route
Follow Tian underground. Burn the obstructing ribbons with Fire Arrows where needed and continue to the broken-bridge area. The route proceeds through the side waterway; repeatedly attempting the broken span does not advance it.
Touch the Moonlit Flowers to reveal the route cues through the darkened view. Use the visible air openings while following the tunnel, then emerge near the gate with four bells.
Reveal the real bell sequence
Touch a nearby Moonlit Flower, then activate the pedestal while the blindness effect is present. The ordinary visible demonstration can mislead you. Stand where all four slabs above the bells are visible and number the bells from left to right.

Aim at the slabs, not the hanging bell bodies. If the gate stays shut, repeat the flower and pedestal setup and check that each shot lands on the correct target.
Find what Li Zhenzhen wants
Beyond the gate, meet the Lunar Goddess and inspect the eye box. Give it to Tian when prompted, then search the lower dwelling for the Small Blade and the special Moonlit Flower near the table.
Return upstairs and offer the Moonlit Flower to progress the conclusion. The flower collected as a quest item in the dwelling is the relevant offering; merely having touched a blindness flower earlier is not the same inventory state.
Exit through the lower dwelling
After the final scene, return downstairs and find the narrow opening behind the clothes-rack area. Squeeze through to the underground landing and use the raft to leave.
Complete the exit before judging whether the rewards were granted. Blinding Mist is the main skill unlock. Equip it through Mystic Skills if you want to use it; the quest’s temporary blindness interactions are separate from having that learned combat skill on your bar.
