Meet the Mysterious Painter at the Martial Temple. Light the ceiling lanterns, use the newly learned An Unholy Prophecy pose on the empty platform and return both weapon sets to the central armor display.

Reveal the mural and activate the platform
- Talk to the Mysterious Painter at the Martial Temple, then use the marked entrance at the Martial Hall’s western eaves.
- Meet him inside and shoot Fire Arrows at the hanging ceiling lanterns to reveal the hidden mural.
- Finish the dialogue to receive the An Unholy Prophecy pose.
- Stand on the empty raised platform and use that exact pose from the emote menu. Continue through the opened passage.
The platform wants a specific learned pose, not any bow or meditation animation. If it does nothing, recheck the pose name and the painter’s unfinished dialogue.
Learn the bell-lock interaction
In the underground corridor, strike the bell and then use Meridian Touch on the responding lock panel. Activate the Boundary Stone beyond it. In the main Arsenal room, inspect the armor and the paper in front of it to register the collection objective.
Face the large central statue when choosing a wing. This keeps left and right consistent when you return from a side corridor.
Clear both wings and return their sets

Each wing contains enemies, spike passages and bell-locked doors. Clear the local obstruction, ring the bell and open its responding lock. In the circular spike rooms, use the offered traversal points and raised platforms; an ordinary jump into the spikes is not the intended crossing.
After collecting all three long weapons, return to the central armor display and select the long-weapon return. Do the same for the short weapons. Merely possessing the six items is not the final interaction that restores the central statue.
Collect the skill box when the route is safe
Once the wings are cleared, you can climb toward the large statue and use Celestial Seize on the small box above for the spinning Mystic Skill. The handbook’s Soaring Spin guide covers that pickup. Treat side chests as optional detours; they do not replace either weapon-return objective.
Finish the Arsenal and return to the painter
- Take the newly opened deeper route and cross the next trap room.
- Defeat Shi Zhen and the accompanying soldiers before taking the final treasure.
- Climb the rear ladder and open the chest to the right for the passage-related keys and ledger.
- Follow the tunnel out, then go to the pagoda to meet the Mysterious Painter and finish the quest.
If the central exit remains closed, check the two return interactions. If you are already beyond the fight, look for the rear ladder and key chest instead of retracing both weapon wings.
