Open Appearance, choose an outfit with the rainbow dye icon and select Dye. Softweave covers the basic color range; Rosycloud is used for advanced colors. Check the material icon and total cost after your final adjustment.

Open the outfit’s dye controls
- Open the main menu → Appearance and select the outfit section.
- Choose an owned outfit that displays the rainbow icon and equip it.
- Select Dye to enter its color controls.
- Choose the outfit or fabric section you want to edit before moving a slider.
The wardrobe may show items you can preview but do not own. First confirm ownership and dye support if the action is unavailable. Hair color uses separate materials and is covered in the appearance guide.
Keep the two powders separate

A small slider change can cross into the advanced range. Recheck the material named by the confirmation button after choosing the final shade, even if the first preview used Softweave.
Build the whole color scheme before saving
Our suggested order is the main fabric first, secondary panels second and trim last. Check the outfit from more than one angle so you do not spend materials on a color combination that only works from the front.
Use the preview to compare two designs before applying either. If the menu offers a saved design or plan, keep the preferred preview there while gathering the materials. Saving an idea and paying to apply it are different actions; read the confirmation text.
Check earned sources before buying more
Softweave appears in several progression and social shops, including cohort, discipleship and partnership exchanges. Availability depends on the shop and your progression. Open the powder’s acquisition information, then inspect the listed shop’s currency, stock and unlock requirement.
Our recommendation is to choose one outfit and one finished design, then gather the exact shortage. There is little value in converting several currencies into dye before knowing which powder the final shade needs.
If the dye button or save action is unavailable
- No dye action: confirm ownership, equipment and the rainbow icon.
- Wrong part changes color: select the intended fabric or accessory section.
- Enough Softweave but save is blocked: check whether the design now asks for Rosycloud.
- Preview looks correct but the outfit is unchanged: complete the application step after reviewing its cost.
