The quick answer

Open Develop → Gear → Arsenal once the feature unlocks. Store eligible retired gear, choose an Arsenal Path that supports your equipped Martial Arts and improve low-mastery slots. Previous Arsenals award their full listed bonuses at a full bar; Current Arsenal overflow follows different rules.

Open the Arsenal and choose the right tier

The Arsenal unlocks at character level 51. Open Develop → Gear → Arsenal and select the tier you want to fill. Its item requirements are separate from the level of the gear you currently wear.

If a piece cannot be placed, compare its tier with that Arsenal’s accepted tier and check whether it is still equipped or otherwise unavailable. Do not recycle it solely because it failed one storage slot.

Match the attack bonus to your Martial Arts

BellstrikeBellstrike Attack
StonesplitStonesplit Attack
SilkbindSilkbind Attack

For a matching pair, begin with the corresponding Path. For a mixed pair, compare General and the relevant specialised choice against the attacks you actually use. The word “Silkbind” alone does not mean the Arsenal is reserved for healing.

After switching, verify the active selection and inspect the resulting character or Martial Art details. Keep gear and buffs constant during the comparison so a separate change does not distort the result.

Replace weak stored slots before collecting duplicates

Stored gear contributes to Arsenal mastery. A useful improvement replaces a low-value occupied slot with a stronger eligible piece; keeping several near-identical items in the bag does not by itself raise the Arsenal.

Our suggested routine is to inspect the lowest-contributing slots first, compare a replacement and confirm the resulting progress. Check the active Arsenal plan afterward. A carefully filled inactive plan is not proof that the intended bonus is applied.

Gear-set bonuses from your combat equipment are a different system. For Arsenal decisions, focus on its displayed mastery contribution and resulting bonus instead of trying to recreate your equipped set inside storage.

Previous and Current Arsenals have different stopping points

The January optimisation separates Current Arsenal from Previous Arsenals. A full Previous Arsenal bar grants its listed attack and HP bonuses without requiring overflow. For Current Arsenal, the published rule retains HP benefit from overflow after the attack progress is full.

That distinction prevents two opposite mistakes: spending extra materials beyond a completed old target, or assuming a full current attack bar means no further HP benefit exists. Read the selected tier’s bonus panel before deciding that more mastery has value.

Compare the cost with your active equipment

Do not strip useful gear from a working combat setup just to raise a storage total. First fill gaps with genuine leftovers. If additional Tuning would improve an Arsenal candidate, compare that expense with the upgrade you could make to your equipped gear.

The practical question is the next useful bonus per material spent. A small displayed increase is worth considering, but it is not automatically the best use of a scarce resource.

Common questions

Should I overfill every old Arsenal?

The published Previous Arsenal rule grants its full listed attack and HP bonuses at a full bar. Current Arsenal overflow is a separate case.

Is the Silkbind Arsenal only for healers?

It supplies the Silkbind attack category. Choose according to your Martial Arts and actual stat effects, not a role nickname.
