The quick answer
The Twin Lions world boss is in Granary of Plenty near Gracetown, Kaifeng. Dodge gold attacks and keep your counters short. When pillars appear in the second phase, leave the dangerous centre and use the contextual kick when a lion perches within reach.

Twin Lions location and preparation
Travel to the Granary of Plenty area south of Gracetown and approach the open boss clearing. Entering the encounter area starts the fight, so restore health and equip your usual defensive tools before walking in.
You need room to see incoming leaps and firework effects. Try a camera position that keeps the lions and nearby ground visible together. An overhead enemy leaving the centre of your view is a reason to stop attacking and locate its landing.
Read fireworks, leaps and gold attacks
The opening phase mixes close swipes with lunges, aerial slams and firework pressure. Gold telegraphs signal attacks you should evade. Do not use a successful parry on one ordinary swipe as evidence that the following gold move is also deflectable.
Use the landing or completed combination as your cue for a short counter. Leave enough Endurance to move again. A long attack sequence is a poor trade if its final hit leaves you stationary under the next leap.
Handle the second health bar and pillars
- Expect the fight to continue after the first bar is depleted. Watch the transition before spending your remaining resources.
- When the pillar formation appears, move out of the central danger zone instead of chasing underneath an airborne lion.
- Locate the perched lion and approach only when the ground around it is safe.
- Use the kick interaction when the game displays its prompt, then take the resulting opening.
- Return to watching the arena as soon as the lion recovers.
The kick is a contextual interaction. Repeated ordinary attacks against an arbitrary pillar do not substitute for the prompt. If it is unavailable, reposition and wait for the relevant perch rather than standing in the middle of the formation.
What to change after a failed attempt
| Problem | Next adjustment |
|---|---|
| Gold attacks keep connecting | Stop trying to parry that cue; reserve Endurance for a deliberate dodge. |
| The second phase surprises you | Treat the first depleted bar as a transition and recover your view of the arena. |
| You cannot find the kick | Look for the perched lion and the displayed interaction. |
| Fireworks obscure the next move | End your counter earlier and create enough space to read the next landing. |
For a practice attempt, focus on surviving one pillar sequence cleanly. Once you recognise when the centre becomes unsafe, you can add damage around that movement without rebuilding your character.

Common questions
Do Twin Lions have a second phase?
Yes. Depleting the opening health bar leads into a more aggressive phase with pillars and contextual kick opportunities.
Can every Twin Lions attack be parried?
No. Evade gold attacks. Read each telegraph rather than trying to deflect the entire firework sequence.
