The quick answer
For the Halo Peak campaign fight, bring Meridian Touch for the channelled shockwave, shorten your attacks when the statue joins in and watch the real Tian Ying during the final clone sequence. Deflecting his incoming strike is the key response to the copies.

Enter through the Halo Peak story
Tian Ying is the boss of The Promised Light route in Qinghe’s Halo Peak storyline. Follow the campaign from your Journal; if its entry is locked, inspect the stated exploration requirement before searching the mountain for another entrance.
After the story clear, the Campaign Challenge offers a rematch. This guide describes that campaign fight’s structure, not a multiplayer raid with additional party mechanics. The same boss name can appear in more than one activity.
Give Meridian Touch a specific job
Equip Meridian Touch and keep it available for the channelled circular shockwave. Use it during the cast to interrupt him. If it is unavailable or you miss the window, prioritise escaping the attack area instead of starting a damage sequence.
Refill medicine and choose a weapon pair you can defend with comfortably. Our recommendation for a first clear is to keep your offensive sequences short until you recognise the end of each enemy string. A long sequence that works on a practice target may leave no room for the next mechanic.
Phase one: follow the staff through the wind-up
The opening phase mixes staff swings with attacks that reach beyond melee range. Watch the weapon travel into the hit rather than reacting to the first movement of his shoulders. After a clean defensive response, take a short counter and return to watching him.
Our suggested learning goal is one repeatable answer to the attack that costs you the most medicine. If a delayed hit keeps catching you, deliberately stop attacking before it and observe the full wind-up once. Fixing that one response can preserve more health than adding another damage upgrade.
Phase two: widen your view of the arena
When Tian Ying changes to hand-to-hand attacks and the statue becomes active, do not watch only the boss model. During the statue barrage, move toward a clear side of the arena and keep checking the sweeping attacks and ground effects.
Treat the end of the barrage as your cue to re-engage. Running back toward him after the first impact can put you inside a later sweep. If you use a ranged attack during the sequence, keep enough attention on the arena to move when the safe space changes.
Phase three: answer the real attacker
The final phase adds rapid movement and copies. During the clone sequence, keep the camera available to find Tian Ying’s incoming attack from your blind side. Deflecting the real attacker dispels copies; chasing each clone’s health bar makes the sequence harder to read.
Once the field clears, return to the short-counter approach. Heal after a clearly completed string or a Qi-break opening, not simply because you have rolled a few steps away. He can cover that distance quickly.
Separate the story reward from Free Morph
The story route rewards Yaksha Rush. Free Morph has a separate learning requirement in the Challenge version: build the eye meter by deflecting the second-phase spinning kicks before finishing the fight.

Common questions
Is this the raid version of Tian Ying?
No. These instructions cover the Halo Peak campaign encounter and its campaign rematch.
Should I kill the clones individually?
Focus on the real Tian Ying’s incoming strike. Successful deflects during that mechanic remove copies.
