Coppergold Hollow: statue matching and all three side chests

Match Coppergold Hollow’s rotating statues and solve the side-door patterns for all three chests.

The quick answer

Use Meridian Touch’s Immobilize interaction to stop the rotating statues in Coppergold Hollow. Copy the fixed reference statues for the main doors, then solve the separate side-door patterns before opening the final treasure.

Start the rotation, then freeze one statue

Enter Coppergold Hollow in Qinghe’s Sundara Land with Meridian Touch available. In the first room, activate the floor mechanism and watch the moving statue. Stop it when it faces the same direction as the stationary statue beside it.

Use the reference figure’s actual facing, not the way it appears from a diagonal camera angle. If the door remains shut, view the pair from the side and try the alignment again.

Second room: copy the back pair

The next room has four statues and two floor mechanisms. From the entrance-side plate, stop each rotating foreground statue to match its corresponding fixed statue farther back. The two foreground statues do not necessarily share one direction; each has its own reference.

Work on one pair at a time. After freezing the first correctly, move your aim to the second rather than trying to catch both rotations in one hurried input. The main doorway opens when both relationships match.

First chest: make the remaining pair face inward

Before leaving, use the second plate to rotate the other pair. Stop those two statues facing directly toward one another. This opens the side room containing the first chest.

The main-door pattern and chest-door pattern use different relationships. If the route forward is open but the chest remains sealed, change to the other plate and solve the inward-facing pair.

Second and third chests: use the corner references

In the larger chamber, stand on the central plate to rotate the surrounding statues. For the southeast and northwest side-door puzzles, inspect the stationary reference beside each gated doorway. Freeze the associated moving statue to match that corner’s reference, then check the door and collect the chest.

Treat each corner separately. Copying the same compass direction to every statue can open one side while leaving its opposite wrong. The fixed figure beside the relevant door is a more reliable reference than a screen-relative instruction such as “turn left.”

Final treasure: match all four outer references

For the main exit, stop each of the four moving statues to match the fixed statue diagonally behind it. Walk around the central plate and compare each pair individually.

Once the final door opens, collect the treasure and check that all three side chests were opened. The side-door solutions are optional detours within the same statue room, so a clear main route does not prove you collected them.

If one alignment remains uncertain, check which plate controls it and which fixed figure belongs to that pair. That is more productive than resetting every correctly positioned statue.
